Asheville Transit Services

Asheville Transit provides bus service service throughout the City of Asheville and other local areas, including the UNC Asheville campus.

The Asheville Transit Center is located downtown at 49 Coxe Avenue next to the U.S. Post Office. The Transit Center provides clean restrooms, indoor and outdoor seating, and an on-duty information assistant.

UNC Asheville students, faculty, and staff have unlimited and free access to all Asheville Transit routes ONLY with a valid OneCard with a “Passport 12/13” sticker. Stickers are available from:

• University Police, located in Vance Hall
• Parking and Transportation Services, located in S210 Millar Facilities Complex

All buses also transport at least two bicycles.
